UPES Dehradun Overview
The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies was founded in 2003 according to the UPES Act, which was approved by the Uttarakhand State Legislature (UPES). A total of 44 acres make up the varsity’s campus. The National Board of Accreditation has granted the B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and B.Tech. in Automotive Design Accreditation (NBA). The university is ranked 25th overall and first in the law field in the NIRF Rankings of 2021. The university was ranked 167th in the same category in the NIRF Rankings for 2020, however it was ranked 91st in the engineering category in 2021. The university’s sole goal is to provide each student with the knowledge they need to realize their own unique life goals. The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies in Dehradun has worked with many international institutions. The Pharmacy Council of India has approved the university’s undergraduate and diploma pharmacy programs.
