MNITE Jaipur Overview
Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur was founded in 1963 known as the Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur. The college was subsequently given the designation of National Institute of Technology. The campus area sprawled around 317 acres. As a cooperative initiative of the governments of India and Rajasthan, through an Act of Parliament, the university received the National Institute of Technology designation in 2002 and the Institute of National Importance in 2007. The Government of India and the Ministry of Education totally subsidise the university. According to the NIRF 2021 rankings, MNIT Jaipur placed 72nd overall and 37th in the engineering category.
