International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad) was established in 1998 as an autonomous Not-for-Profit Public-Private Partnership (N-PPP) institution in Hyderabad, Telangana in an ample area of 66 acres of land in a perfect placid atmosphere. It is the first of its kind established in India to contribute to transforming industry and society by delivering research-led education, promoting innovation, and fostering human values. It has evolved strong research programs with an emphasis on technology and applied research over the years, therefore several world-renewed centers of excellence are part of the IIIT Hyderabad research portfolio.
