Kongu Engineering College (KEC) is an autonomous college established by the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust in 1984. The college is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. KEC Erode is accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). In the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2020, the college got the 135th position.
