IIT Indore Overview

IIT Indore is one of the 8 new IITs officially identified as “The Institute of National Importance.” Currently, the institute operates from its permanent campus in Simrol. It is ranked 396 in the QS World University Rankings 2023. 

 IIT Indore has been ranked 16th by the NIRF listings as the institution was incepted in the year 2009. The institution spans over 501 acres of land space, which makes it better for the engineering graduates to excel and shine in their academic careers due to the noticeable fact that all sorts of requisite facilitative amenities are being rendered by the management institution to all its students for a safe and secure peaceful environment at all times.

 IIT Indore has started the selection process for 2022 admissions. For MTech admissions, GATE COAP 2022 Round D results have now been announced. Candidates can accept, freeze, wait, or reject the admission offer. For MSc admissions, the IIT JAM 2022 4th admission list has been released on the official website. 

 IIT Indore has been classified as a public technical university established under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act. Committed to excellence in teaching, learning, and research, IIT Indore has 1400+ students enrolled, 11 Departments, 13 Centers, 5 Halls of Residence, and a Learning Resource Center (LRC) with 3800 electronic journals.

 IIT Indore offers 6 programs across 42 streams. Programs offered at IIT Indore include B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.S (Research), Ph.D., and dual degrees. Admission to these programs is based on national-level entrance scores. Amongst all, the institute has two major courses, i.e., BTech and MTech. IIT Indore BTech requires a JEE Advanced cutoff of 505-10884.

 Candidates can check their selection status for IIT JAM Admission 2022 online by logging into the candidate’s portal at joaps.iitr.ac.in. The last date to pay the seat booking fee is fast approaching. The application window for Master of Science in Data Science and Management has been extended for DMAT applicants.
